Terms of Sales and Service Agreement

This Sales and Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Legal Tags (“Service Proider”) and the Customer (“Customer”) upon acceptance and payment of the initial fee. 

1. Service Provided

Legal Tags agrees to assist the Customer with the registration and/or retitling of their vehicle using a Montana LLC. The scope of service includes forming a Montana LLC, preparing all necessary documentation, and submitting registration and titling applications as  required to the DMV and paying all associated fees. Plates will be shipped out directly from the DMV via FedEx to address on file. Title will be sent out to the address on file directly from the State of Montana via USPS. 

2. Payment Terms
The Customer agrees to pay all fees up front unless an agreed upon payment has been established. All fees are required prior to the commencement of any work and is nonrefundable once the LLC has been submitted to the state for approval. Payment can be made via approved payment methods specified by Legal Tags. Additional fees may apply for supplementary services or requests by the customer not included in this agreement, which will be communicated and billed separately. Payment is due in full before we submit all paperwork to the DMV. There are no refunds of any kind once the paperwork has been submitted to the DMV and fees paid. 

3. No Questions Asked Money-Back Guarantee

Legal Tags guarantees to make diligent efforts to successfully register the Vehicle. If, despite these efforts, Legal Tags is unable to complete the registration after all documents have been received, the Customer will be entitled to a full refund of all payments made. This guarantee is designed to provide the Customer with peace of mind, ensuring that if Legal Tags cannot deliver the promised service, they will receive their money back! This Guarantee does not cover situations where the Customer decides to cancel after all paperwork has been submitted to the DMV and fees paid. 

4. Formation of Montana LLC

Once Legal Tags has successfully submitted to the State, the Montana LLC on behalf of the Customer, a $100 fee associated with the LLC formation process becomes non-refundable. This is because the formation process involves costs and administrative efforts that are incurred upfront. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that, if they decide to not follow through with the registration, the LLC formation fee is final and non-refundable once the LLC has been submitted for approval by the State of Montana. Customer acknowledges there will be a $97 fee billed annually to renew your LLC and maintain Legal Tags as your registered agent. 

5. Miscellaneous

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the services described and supersedes any prior agreements or communications. Any modifications or amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties to be effective. 

6. Acceptance
By paying the registration or retitle fees and/or engaging in any Legal Tags for services, the Customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the Fee Schedule below.

Permanent Plates for Cars: $197

Permanent Plates for Trucks, Vans, SUVs and RVs: $297

Permanent Plate for Exotics: $397

Add-on Temp Tag: $147

Stand Alone Temp Tag: $297 

Personalized Lettering: $150

Custom License Plate: $150

Electric Vehicle fee: $160

Luxury Tax for Cars over 150K MSRP: $875

Luxury Tax for RVs over 300K MSRP: $850

7. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

As part of our services, Legal Tags LLC may send you the following types of text messages: order confirmations and status updates, document signing requests and reminders, vehicle registration and retitling process notifications, appointment and scheduling reminders, customer service communications, and promotional offers or service updates (with your separate marketing consent).

8. SMS/Text Messaging Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from Legal Tags LLC at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply with any of the following keywords to any message: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL. After sending one of these keywords, you will receive a single confirmation message stating: "Legal Tags: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive text messages from us. Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at [email protected]." No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.

9. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers (including but not limited to T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and other mobile network operators) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile carrier and network availability. Legal Tags LLC is not responsible for messages that are not received due to carrier issues, device incompatibility, or changes to your mobile number.

10. Message Frequency and Data Rates

Message frequency varies based on the status of your order and your interactions with our services. Non-marketing messages (order updates, document signing reminders, etc.) may be sent up to 10 times per month. Marketing messages (promotional offers, service updates) may be sent up to 4 times per month. Message and data rates may apply. Legal Tags LLC does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply. Consult your mobile plan for details.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy at legaltags.com/privacy-policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including data related to our SMS messaging program. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
